Some research was conducted using E. S. Claveria’s Technique. It was used as an intervention program for non-reader pupils in Grade 1 and really helped a lot to improve their performance level. It showed that after exposure to the E.S. Claveria technique, there was an increase in the result in the post-test. It is therefore recommended that it could be used for all learners in all grade levels with a poor or low-performance level in reading.
