The Enhanced Table of Specification for LET/LEPT/BLEPT (New LET TOS) will be implemented starting March 2023. Enhanced Table of Specifications for the Subjects of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers to be Implemented Beginning March 2023 – The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) informs the public that the Enhanced Table of Specification (TOS) for the subjects of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) issued by the Professional Regulatory Board for Professional Teachers and approved by the Commission under Board Resolution No. 11 (s.2022) will be applied beginning March 2023 LEPT and onwards.
Consequently, all concerned graduates of Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd) and Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) are reminded of the following LEPT rules as provided under Board Resolution No. 15:
a) The following BEEd and BSEd graduates shall be allowed to take the September 2022 LEPT:
- Those who graduated in the year 2020 or earlier under the old curriculum;
- Those who graduated in the year 2021 onwards under the old curriculum;
b) The BEEd and BSEd graduates of the year 2021 onwards and under the new curriculum shall not be eligible to take the September 2022 LEPT and are advised to apply in the next schedule of the LEPT starting year 2023;
c) The 2023 LEPT and its succeeding schedules shall be open to all BEEd and BSEd graduates, regardless of the year of their graduation. The graduates of BEEd and BSEd prior to the issuance of CHED Memorandum Order Nos. 74 and 75 and those who were affected by the Teacher Education Institutions’ late implementation of the new curriculum are encouraged to take refresher course/s to bridge the gap in knowledge and learning outcomes between the old and the new curricula;
d) For graduates of equivalent baccalaureate courses with eighteen (18) units of education, only those who have taken or earned their eighteen (18) education units under the old curriculum shall be admitted to the September 2022 LEPT, while, those under the new curriculum shall be allowed to take the LEPT starting the year 2023.
All concerned graduates are advised to strictly observe the foregoing rules in taking the LEPT to avoid any problem in transacting applications for licensure examinations.

Use of Calculator for Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET)
PRC through Resolution No. 25 series of 2019 announced the following modifications to the list of allowable non-programmable calculators for LET.
- Only the examinees in Secondary Level major in Mathematics (under Specialization subject) are allowed to use the calculator.
- The only allowed features of the calculator are Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication, Division, Trigonometric Function, Logarithm and XY.
- Only one (1) calculator is allowed in the examination room.
