GSIS updates on loan payments – Good news! GSIS will not collect June loan payments and this will have an effect of loan term extension. DepEd will refund the loan payments withheld from the June salary.
“Mag-start kami mangolekta ng loan amortization”, Yun Loan amortizations natin, will extend the term of the loan. If the remaining term of the loan, let us say, 12 months na lang, so magpa-plus 4 month kami”, GSIS Executive Vice President Nora Malubay said.
Update:
GSIS is also processing the refund of the March loan payment that was remitted to GSIS in April. Concerned DepEd employees need not to apply to GSIS for the refund as it will be remitted to your UMID cards.
