TDC urged the government to ensure the safety of learners and teachers before class opening for the upcoming school year 2020-2021.

In the Unity Statement, DepEd vowed that they will continue to support whole of government efforts towards healing our nation.

Schools should consult and must have the approval of the students' parents
before shifting to online classes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Department of Education (DepEd) is currently taking considerations and plans to continue precautionary measures on the opening of classes.
